Entercom, the parent company of KMBZ and other stations in Kansas City, announced Thursday a multiyear agreement to broadcast games and other programming for city's NFL franchise, the Chiefs.

The new flagship stations of the 70-station Chiefs Radio Network will be 106.5 The Wolf (WDAF-FM) beginning February 15, 2020. The Wolf will broadcast all preseason, regular season and post season games, along with pre-game and post-game coverage.

"Entercom's eight station cluster of music, news and sports talk stations hosted by Kansas City's leading personalities align with vast digital and podcast opportunities, and will deliver the premium and comprehensive coverage fans of the Chiefs Kingdom desire seven days a week, all season long," said Dave Alpert, Entercom Regional President and Market Manager.

As part of the agreement, 610 Sports Radio (KCSP-AM) will become the official broadcast partner of the Kansas City Chiefs, with exclusive rights to Chiefs programming. Among the programs on 610 Sports will be the Chiefs Kingdom Radio Show on Monday nights, which is hosted by play-by-play announcer Mitch Holthus, who will return for his 27th season as Voice of the Chiefs.
