Kansas City, MO - Children chose their favorite doctors and nurses to get 'slimed' today during Camp Week at Children's Mercy Hospital.

Camp Week is geared toward giving in-patient children the same experiences other children get to have during the summer months.

Loved watching kids slime their favorite doctors, nurses and staff members at @ChildrensMercy today! -- @fox4kc

And when the kids go back to school... "They can say 'I went to camp too!' and can talk about their experiences," said Trista Williams, Child Life Program Coordinator.

Got slime? Today at Camp Week, kids voted and #slimed some of their favorite people at the hospital, and it was messy! Thanks to Dr. Matt McLaughlin from Rehabilitation Medicine, Aimee from #ChildLife and @scribeswalk, our Artist-in-Residence, for being such great sports!

Recently, Children's Mercy put on a prom for children who were in the hospital receiving care.
