For the kids, it's a time to traipse up and down their neighborhood streets in search of candy and memories with their family and friends.

For some adults, its a time to dress up and get in touch with their inner kid . . . and maybe drink some crafty, spooky cocktails in the process.

That's what's on offer this year at Julep and Soft Conspiracy, a trendy Westport bar, at their Halloween pop-up bar, dubbed "Something Wicked".

"It's not nesicarily your typical ghosts and goblins situation," Beau Williams, owner and General Manager of Julep and Soft Conspiracy Cocktail Club, explained. "It's more like a Victorian séance gone wrong."

Williams said "Something Wicked" is the brainchild of his wife and partner, Keely.

It will have everything - professional stage lighting, a spooky DJ set list and plenty of terrifyingly good cocktails, including Beau's favorite - the Black Mirror.

"It's our mixed up version of like a black Manhattan, and it's just an inky, black color. You can actually see straight through the drink, with a single ice cube, straight to the bottom. Everything around it is just black. It's bizarre."

Get your reservations in early, too, because space is limited and going fast.

"Something Wicked" won't be around long, though - only open from October 3 - November 3, before it closes to make room for a holiday wonderland, set to open at Julep in late November.
