WASHINGTON (AP) - Big 12 co-champion Kansas State is a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament's South Region, with an opening round game against No. 13 UC Irvine in San Jose, Calif. on Friday.

Kansas drew a No. 4 seed in the Midwestern Regional of the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks play No. 13 Northeastern Thursday afternoon in Salt Lake City.
