Released from prison, Ricky Kidd still not truly free

Kansas City, MO - After 23 years in prison, convicted of a double slaying in 1996, Ricky Kidd walked free earlier this month - a judge finding "clear and convincing" evidence of Kidd's innocence in the crime.

BREAKING: Circuit Court Judge Daren Adkins has issued an order finding Ricky Kidd is innocent and that the State withheld evidence in violation of Brady v. Maryland. The Court has ordered that Ricky Kidd be released or retried within 30 days.
