Kansas City, MO - As the kids countdown the days to winter break, your options for where they're going to go are beginning to dwindle.  Kristina Light with KCParent.com has your back with a Winter Fun Guide of the top day camps in the area. Her top pick is a winter break day camp at the Kansas City Zoo.

"They have really fun themes in the zoo's camps. They have Ice Age, and Polar Animals, and Panda-monium, and Desert Daze," explains Light.

It's for kids ages 5-12 and you can choose all available dates or an a la-carte option, and KC Parent's Winter Guide offers a 25% off code. Another great option is the Johnson County Museum's kids day out program.

"Their winter break camps focus on history and exploration of the KidScape exhibits. They include games, outdoor time, if the weather permits, and a lot of hands on fun," according to Light.

She says if the kids need to burn some energy, Sky Zone offers full-day or half-day options. You can check out all the day camps and deal offers on KC Parent's website.
