NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – President Donald Trump’s younger brother has been hospitalized in New York, the White House confirmed.

The president was expected to visit Robert Trump in the hospital Friday, sources told ABC News.

He was described by the sources as “very ill,” though his condition is not known. He recently spent over a week in the intensive care unit at Mount Sinai hospital in June.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the hospitalization to ABC News, saying the brothers “have a very good relationship” and that the president would have more to say soon.

Trump was set to arrive in the tri-state Friday afternoon before spending the weekend at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey. He was scheduled to deliver remarks at the city's largest police union, the Police Benevolent Association, at 5 p.m. Friday.
